Sales & Business Development Intern

As a Sales & Business Development Intern at Coretecs, you won't just observe. You'll contribute to real commercial growth in one of the most complex and exciting sectors in B2B: industrial technology.

Most sales internships hand you a script and a list of contacts. We do it differently. You'll work in an environment where Industry 4.0 is not a buzzword but a daily reality. Understanding the difference between OT and IT, or knowing why a manufacturer struggles to get data off the shop floor, makes you a better commercial professional. That technical depth is what sets our sales approach apart, and it's what will set you apart too.

You'll take ownership of a real strategic project, work side by side with experienced sales and business development professionals, and receive direct mentoring that prepares you for a career in B2B sales. By the time you finish, you won't just have a line on your CV. You'll have a framework you built, tested, and presented to management, and a clear understanding of what it takes to sell complex solutions to industrial decision-makers.

You enjoy structuring a problem, testing your approach, and improving as you go. Whether it's prospecting new leads, mapping a market, or designing a scalable outreach process, you thrive when your work creates real impact. You're curious about technology and innovation, and you're not intimidated by the complexity of industrial environments. If anything, it excites you.

You communicate clearly, work proactively, and know when to ask for help and when to take initiative. With a sharp commercial instinct and a structured mindset, you help turn business opportunities into concrete results. If you already have some affinity with industrial technology, whether that's a passing interest in automation, IoT, or how production environments work, that's a bonus and not a requirement. We'll make sure you get up to speed.

Who You’ll Work With

You'll be working closely with the Business Development Manager (day-to-day guidance), Engineering experts to get a deep understanding of our technical offering, and Marketing to align outreach and positioning.

What it's like

At Coretecs, you'll be in control of your internship. We give you real ownership over a concrete strategic project:

"Build, Test, Grow: Expanding the Coretecs Sales Engine through an AI-enabled Business Development Framework"

You'll analyse our current commercial operations, design a scalable BD structure, and validate it in practice through real prospecting. You'll close with a final presentation to management, delivering output that has actual business impact.

  • Period: July-September or October-December 2026
  • Duration: Minimum 12 weeks, preferably 14 weeks
  • Location: Coretecs offices in Ghent, Kontich or Leuven + partially remote possible
  • Language: Dutch (English a plus)
